This presentation will explain the causes, symptoms and the impact of Tardive Dyskinesia (TD) as well as the relationship between TD and taking antipsychotics for conditions like schizophrenia. TD is a condition that causes unwanted, uncontrollable body movements such as twitching, shaking, and jerking. Possible social, emotional and professional impacts of TD will be discussed as well as tips for someone who is caring for someone living with TD.
